10 billion MLED chip base project started

On the morning of October 13th, the Nanchong New Display Industrial Park held a groundbreaking event, marking the official start of construction of the industrial park. Among them, the Huike full-color M-LED new display chip base project with a total investment of tens of billions has officially started. It is understood that on May 24 this year, the Shunqing District People's Government and Huike Co., Ltd. successfully signed a 10-billion M-LED new display chip base project at the Nanchong City (Chengdu) key industry investment promotion and application scenario conference. The project has a designed monthly production capacity of 1 million pieces and will be constructed in three phases. The first phase has a designed monthly production capacity of 150,000 pieces. The main product is a new full-color M-LED display chip. During mid-September, according to Qichacha’s public information, Nanchong Huike Xinjing Display Technology Co., Ltd. was recently registered and established. The legal representative of the company is He Huailiang, with a registered capital of 2.223 billion yuan, and its business scope covers the manufacturing and sales of semiconductor lighting devices, and the sales of special equipment for semiconductor devices. The shareholder structure shows that the new company is jointly held by Nanchong Zhenqing Industrial Development Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership) and Huike Co., Ltd. Nanchong Zhenqing Fund is the controlling shareholder of Nanchong Huike Xinjing, with a subscribed capital contribution of 2 billion yuan and holding 89.9685% of its shares; Huike Shares has subscribed a capital contribution of 223 million yuan and holds 10.0315% of the shares. The establishment of the new company may mark the official entry into the implementation stage of this tens of billions project. It is worth noting that Huike has continued to increase its investment in the MLED field in recent years.As of May this year, its investment in the MLED field has exceeded 30 billion yuan. This strategic layout is gradually becoming clearer, and MLED technology is becoming an important part of Huike's business matrix.
