2022 The 11th China Lighting Designers Conference

China Lighting Designers Conference (hereinafter referred to as CLDC) is the first large-scale academic event in China aimed at the "professional lighting designers" group. It has been successfully held for ten times and has become one of the top events gathering global lighting designers, light and shadow artists, etc.

CLDC aims to convey the ideas of Chinese lighting designers to the world through dialogue from different perspectives among relevant parties including designers + engineers + owners + suppliers. The conference takes "Let design create value" as its permanent theme. Through the deep integration of designers and the industry chain, design can create greater value, let design change the future, and create a growth platform for designers to innovate and develop and improve their professional level.

2022 is a critical year for the “14th Five-Year Plan” and a year of opportunities for the field of lighting design. From the "Government Work Report" to the "14th Five-Year Plan for Cultural Tourism" to the "Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting Key Works of Rural Revitalization", they all convey to the industry the government's confidence and determination to expand domestic demand, boost consumption and revive the economy. Landscape lighting, cultural tourism night tours, urban construction, rural revitalization and other fields related to lighting design will create a huge incremental market. However, the forms, methods and trends of lighting design are changing. The market is shifting from focusing on scale to focusing on quality development, and from focusing on construction to focusing on operation.

Based on this, the CLDC conference is titled "Beyond Boundaries" "Design Integration" is the annual theme, adopting the "1+N" innovative model and relying on the resources of the conference's designers and engineering companies to create a high-level academic forum that will transcend the boundaries of lighting design, allow multiple voices to collide, and open up cooperation.
