Analog chip maker Jewart plans to list on Hong Kong Stock Exchange

On May 31, Jiehuat Microelectronics Co., Ltd. ("Jiehuat") announced that the company had submitted an application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for issuance of shares (H shares) overseas and listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

According to data, Jiehuat was founded in 2013 and is an analog integrated circuit design company with virtual IDM as its main business model. In December 2022, Jiehuat was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology Innovation Board. At present, Jiehuat's products are mainly power management analog chips, and it is gradually expanding its signal chain chip products and is committed to providing one-stop analog integrated circuit product solutions.

It is reported that Jiehuat's power management analog chips include four major sub-product categories: AC-DC chips, DC-DC chips, linear power products and battery management chips. Among them, AC-DC chips are mainly used in the LED lighting industry, and DC-DC chip product application fields widely cover automotive electronics, communication electronics, computing and storage, industrial applications, consumer electronics, etc.

In terms of finance, Jihuat will achieve revenue of approximately RMB 1.679 billion in 2024, an increase of 29.5% compared to 2023. However, losses during the same period expanded from RMB 533 million in 2023 to RMB 611 million. This was mainly due to increased investment in research and development. In 2024, its R&D expenses accounted for approximately 36.9% of total receivables.

According to the listing information, the funds raised by Jiehuat's listing in Hong Kong will be mainly used to strengthen technology research and development, expand product portfolio, expand overseas sales network, make strategic investments and acquisitions, and use it as general working capital.
