Apple’s new 12.9-inch MiniLED iPad Pro will be available soon

According to market news, Apple will release a new iPad Pro in the next few days, including 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes. The 12.9-inch version uses a MiniLED screen, while the 11-inch version does not have a MiniLED screen and uses the same LCD screen as the iPad Pro 2011.

At the same time, Apple will not hold a new product launch conference this time and will directly put it on the shelves for sale.

Some analysts pointed out that the 11-inch version of the iPad Pro will be equipped with the same display screen as the previous generation, that is, the Liquid Retina XDR screen. Compared with the Mini LED screen, the 11-inch version has a low screen brightness of only 600 nits, lacks the ultimate dynamic range, and the black display is not as pure as Mini LED.

However, the 11-inch version of iPad Pro has parameters such as true color display, adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, P3 color gamut, and ultra-low reflectivity. In terms of core configuration, the 11-inch iPad Pro is also equipped with Apple's M2 chip, which has been applied to the MacBook Pro series online and has powerful performance.

Apple M2 is based on the improved TSMC second-generation 5nm process. M1 uses TSMC’s first-generation 5nm process. The number of installed transistors increased by 25%, from 16 billion to 20 billion. Its CPU core is an 8-core design, consisting of 4 high-speed cores + 4 high-efficiency cores, and M2 has 2 more GPU cores compared to M1.
