Fu Liang, general manager of Jingxin Technology, BOE's MLED business, presided over the unveiling ceremony. Relevant leaders from the Zhuhai Investment Promotion Office, Jinwan District, and representatives from Weichuang Group, Chongqing Xinshitong Intelligent Technology, BOE Huacan Optoelectronics, Huafa Group and other enterprises attended the event.

"The Zhuhai Jingxin project is a landmark project that further deepens BOE's MLED ecological 2.0 concept. It will become an important production base for BOE MLED, focusing on the production and manufacturing of a full range of MLED direct display products." Fu Liang said that the project is jointly sponsored by BOE Jingxin Technology and BOE Jointly established by Huacan Optoelectronics, with a total investment of about 1 billion yuan, it is located in Huafa Pingsha Electronic and Electrical Industrial Park, with a factory area of more than 40,000 square meters. Construction is scheduled to start in September, and equipment move-in is expected to be completed by the end of December. MLED direct display products will be lit and fully mass-produced in the first quarter of 2025.
MLED is regarded as the next generation or even the ultimate display solution. It solves the problems of limited application scenarios and screen burn-in of OLED. It has the characteristics of high color fidelity, long service life and stable performance.It has the characteristics of good quality and can be used in many scenarios such as large-screen commercial displays, wearable devices, car screens, cinema screens and AR glasses.
MLED business is one of the core strategies of BOE’s “1+4+N+ ecological chain”. BOE Crystal Core Technology, established in 2020, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BOE Group and specializes in the design, production and provision of Mini/Micro LED display products and solutions.
