BOE takes the lead in mass production of the industry's first LTPS P0.9 glass-based MLED product

Recently, BOE has launched the industry's first LTPS P0.9 glass-based MLED display product and is the first to achieve mass production. It has added a significant mark to the technological breakthrough and industrialization process of high-end MLED display products and fully demonstrated BOE's technical leadership and industrial application capabilities in the MLED field.

The brightness uniformity is greatly improved, achieving ultra-high image quality and extremely delicate BOE (BOE) LTPS The P0.9 glass-based MLED display product adopts a new process route of LTPS and thick Cu, making full use of the unique advantage of LTPS's high charge mobility to greatly improve the luminous efficiency and brightness uniformity of the display device. The pixel volume is greatly optimized to achieve ultra-high pixel borderless splicing. This product innovatively uses LTPS pixel driver to replace the original small IC pixel driver, which minimizes the pixel volume and effectively saves the physical space of a single pixel. The resolution is significantly improved compared to the IC pixel driver, and it also allows the product to achieve "zero border" borderless splicing. Self-developed drive mode + new structural design achieve ultra-low flicker, green energy saving. This product adopts AM active drive mode independently developed by BOE, which makes the light adjustment more accurate. It is also innovatively equipped with PAM+PWM hybrid dimming mode, which greatly improves the pain point of traditional display flicker. The display screen is stable and smooth, which greatly relieves visual fatigue from long-term viewing and protects eye health to the greatest extent. In addition, this product also adopts a new LED chip structure design, which can significantly reduce power consumption by more than 40% compared with traditional LEDs, bringing a major breakthrough in the green and low-carbon performance of MLED products.
