Market diversification layout

European 3D printing factory expansion

Recently, foreign media reported that Signify is strategically expanding its factory in Piva, Poland, to build it into a key manufacturing hub serving the European market by integrating large-scale industrial 3D printing technology.
Xinnuo Fei sees 3D printing technology as a "game changer" in the manufacturing industry. Bart Maeyens, the company's 3D printing director, emphasized that this technology enables the company to produce on demand, "we produce as much as customers need," thereby effectively reducing overproduction and inventory waste, while shortening the production cycle and building a more localized supply chain. This model is particularly critical for customized lighting needs and will significantly enhance its "Signify myCreation" brand's ability to deliver customized lighting fixtures.
It is reported that the expansion project will be carried out in phases: the first 3D printing production line is planned to be put into use in December 2025, and other products The line will follow in early 2026, and is expected to reach full production in mid-2026. Once fully operational, the Piwa factory’s 3D printed lighting products will be supplied to the global market.

It is worth mentioning that Signify’s latest third quarter results for 2025 show that the company is facing certain market challenges. Sales in the third quarter were 1.407 billion euros, with nominal sales falling 8.4%; net profit was 76 million euros.

Teng Boming commented on this: "The current market situation is severe, with weak European market demand, high price pressure, and the U.S. market recovery is slower than expected. However, our development strategy focusing on connected lighting and specialty products is bringing sustained growth."

Faced with market challenges, Signify is looking for breakthrough points, such as "technology "Technological Innovation + Localized Operations", such as the three major development directions of "Lighting and Artificial Intelligence", "Lighting and Health and Welfare", and "Lighting and Sustainable Development" recently demonstrated at the China International Import Expo... With the gradual implementation of the new CEO's strategy and the joint efforts of multiple markets such as China and Europe, Signify is trying to open up new growth paths in a severe market environment.
