Chenxian Optoelectronics lights up TFT-based frameless Micro LED splicing screen

Recently, Chenxian Optoelectronics successfully lit up China's first P0.5 TFT-based frameless 29-inch Micro LED splicing screen in Chengdu High-tech Zone. The splicing screen uses 25 micron LED chips and is composed of four 14.5-inch Micro LED boxes with a pixel pitch of 500 microns.

According to reports, this splicing screen uses the country's first dedicated Micro LED driver IC, which achieves 10-bit color depth and 240 Hz high refresh rate, and cooperates with the unique De-Mura solution to significantly improve the display effect. At the same time, Chenxian Optoelectronics also uses a self-developed hybrid drive circuit architecture to successfully achieve 600 nit brightness (supports HDR function, up to 1000 nit).

In addition, the splicing screen has also achieved a number of important technological breakthroughs. For example, the screen is the first P0.5 TFT-based Micro LED large-size splicing screen in China, achieving truly unlimited splicing; the package reflectivity is reduced to less than 5%.

In terms of infinite splicing, Chenxian Optoelectronics’ technological breakthrough enables TFT-based Micro LED screens to have better resolution and display effects in the field of large-size splicing. Users can freely splice Micro LED screens according to their own needs to form a display screen of any size, providing more flexible and diverse solutions for high-end applications.

In terms of package reflectivity, Chenxian Optoelectronics has successfully reduced the reflectivity of the IJP (Inkjet Printing) package and stabilized it below 5%, ensuring that the Micro LED display still maintains excellent display effects under high brightness, bringing users a clearer and more realistic visual experience.

It is worth mentioning that Chenxian Optoelectronics has also introduced self-developed high-speed mass transfer technology to increase the 25-micron LED chip transfer yield to 99.995%. At the same time, LED post-processing technology is used to ensure the consistency and vividness of the display color.

According to data, Chenxian Optoelectronics was established in 2020 and is a subsidiary of Visionox. It aims to focus on the development of Micro LED. In order to promote the development of Micro LED display technology, in July this year, Chenxian Optoelectronics officially signed a Micro LED display production base project investment cooperation agreement with the Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee.

The signing of the above-mentioned cooperation agreement means that the world's first TFT-based Micro LED display production line will be officially launched in Chengdu, Sichuan.
