Chenxian Optoelectronics’ first TFT-based Micro-LED mass production line equipment move-in ceremony was a complete success

Chengdu, September 10, 2024 at 9:16 - Chenxian Optoelectronics held a grand equipment move-in ceremony for the first TFT-based Micro-LED mass production line (VSM) today. At the ceremony, Dr. Huang Xiuqi, general manager of Chenxian Optoelectronics, delivered a passionate speech. He spoke highly of the milestone significance of this equipment move, emphasizing that this is not only an affirmation of Chenxian Optoelectronics' technological innovation capabilities, but also an important contribution to the development of the Micro-LED industry chain. Looking back on the various hardships since the project was launched, he expressed his heartfelt thanks to the project partners, construction team and all staff.

Dr. Huang Xiuqi pointed out that during the project construction process, the team faced multiple difficulties such as complex construction coordination and extreme weather challenges. However, with the care of leaders at all levels and the joint efforts of all members, the project not only progressed smoothly, but also achieved zero safety accidents, laying a solid foundation for the smooth move-in of equipment.

The equipment move is expected to take 11 days, involving more than 200 pieces of equipment, with a total weight of nearly 1,000 tons. In order to ensure the safety and orderliness of the move-in process, Chenxian Optoelectronics has adopted strict safety management measures and implementedand carry out operations at the same time.

As the salute of equipment moving in sounded, trucks carrying Micro-LED equipment slowly drove into the factory. It is worth mentioning that many of the equipment moved in this time are the first sets jointly developed by Chenxian Optoelectronics and equipment manufacturers. They cover multiple key processes, ensure independent and controllable technical routes, and also contribute to the coordinated development of the domestic Micro-LED industry chain.

Chenxian Optoelectronics attaches great importance to green environmental protection and sustainable development during project construction, and strictly implements the ISO14001 environmental management system, ISO45001 occupational health and safety management system and QC080000 hazardous substances management system to ensure environmental protection and employee safety during the production process. At the same time, the project has also brought positive promotion to the local economy and employment in Chengdu.

Dr. Huang Xiuqi pointed out in his concluding speech that moving in equipment is an important step in Chenxian Optoelectronics' Micro-LED mass production, and is also a key step for the smooth operation of the VSM mass production line. Next, Chenxian Optoelectronics will officially enter the countdown to mass production.
