China’s LED exports to countries along the Belt and Road increased by 211% annually

Customs data shows that in 2014, China’s LED products were exported to 237 countries around the world, with a total export volume of 238.65 billion yuan. Among them, 64 countries along the Belt and Road imported LED lighting products to China totaling US$6.744 billion, an annual increase of 211.84%.

Zhu Xiaojuan, director of the Industrial Competitiveness Division of the Industrial Safety and Import and Export Control Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, said on the 8th that the One Belt and One Road construction layout provides great development opportunities for the development of China’s LED industry, and China’s LED lighting industry will light up the new Silk Road.
