Display and lighting technology products at the Asian Winter Games

From February 7th to February 14th, the 9th Asian Winter Games (Asian Winter Games) was held in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. This is the second important international ice and snow event held by China after the Beijing Winter Olympics. It is also the third time that my country has hosted the Asian Winter Games after the 1996 Harbin Asian Winter Games and the 2007 Changchun Asian Winter Games.

In order to ensure the wonderful presentation of the event, LED-related companies continue to provide advanced display and lighting technology for this Asian Winter Games.
The opening and closing ceremonies of this Asian Winter Games are designed to combine the main venue and branch venues. The main venue is located in Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Sports Center, and the branch venue is located in the world's largest ice and snow theme park - Ice and Snow World. With the help of AR, naked-eye 3D and ultra-high-definition screen technology, the scenes in the two places were linked in real time, showing the scene of "ice city celebrating together".

In terms of screens: The main venue uses a 360-degree surround screen, combined with a projection screen to create a "panoramic immersive space". A digital floor screen is laid on the ground. The main stage screen uses Guangxiang Technology's 4000㎡DN series display screen.

The core display device of the opening ceremony large screen was provided by Xinying Optoelectronics, containing nearly 260 million lamp beads. The large screen of the opening ceremony performance "Ride Between Heaven and Earth" combined AR technology and used Xinying Optoelectronics' SY-ADB202 display device.

In terms of competition venues, Heilongjiang Kefan Information Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid to provide LED screens for the women's ice hockey competition venue maintenance project; Heilongjiang Junhuan Construction Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid to provide LED screens for the alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing, and snowboarding competition venue renovation and expansion construction projects.

In order to facilitate the parking of spectators of the Asian Winter Games, the traffic police department added 14 fully transparent active light-emitting parking information guidance boards around the Convention and Exhibition Center, the Ice Base, the Eighth District Ice Hockey Arena, and the Harbin Sports Center, and equipped with intelligent network modules. On the basis of indicating the location of surrounding parking lots, the number of remaining parking spaces in the parking lot is displayed in real time through LED screens.

In addition, buses, taxis, and subways that shuttle through the city have LED screens displaying promotional slogans, allowing passengers to inadvertently encounter the atmosphere of the Asian Winter Games while waiting and riding.

Lighting: The lighting system at the bottom of the "Snowy Lilac" main torch tower at the opening ceremony is composed of 7080 LED point light sources. The top petals are equipped with a 120-meter-long soft light strip to outline the outline of the lilac.

Foshan Lighting has created a landscape lighting solution for the Harbin Ice and Snow World branch venue, providing more than 40,000 sets of smart ice and snow landscape lighting cold-land LED lamps.

Roman Co., Ltd. has created lighting and improvement projects for the Asian Winter Games Athletes Village and Gold Medal Plaza; created an immersive ice and snow space for approximately 28,000 square meters of Ice and Snow World covering commercial catering, theme parks and other business areas; and created a dreamy night tour experience for the Sun Island Scenic Area.

Tongfang Co., Ltd.’s subsidiary provides technological services for the optimization of night scene lighting on the streets and "city living room" nodes in Nangang District, Harbin. The project uses laser show, high-definition projection and AR smart lighting technology to integrate ice and snow culture.

THORN Lighting provides sports lighting technology for the Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Sports Center, the opening ceremony venue of the Asian Winter Games, as well as the curling hall in Harbin Bungalow District, the aerial acrobatic competition venue - Yabuli Ski Resort U-shaped pool, and the Athletes Village Ski Resort - Yawangsi Ski Resort.

Hubble Lighting participated in the renovation and expansion of the Harbin Ice Hockey Stadium. Hubble adopted a fully symmetrical double track and asymmetric TC customized light distribution design method to effectively avoid the interference and impact of the ice reflected glare on the main camera position during the broadcast of ice hockey projects.

Mingdao Culture Technology Group provided more than 700 Mingdao fully protective lights for the Harbin International Sports Convention and Exhibition Center. For stage lights, the Mingdao full protection series that can work normally at -40°C is adopted.
Musco Lighting provides venue lighting services for ice hockey, short track speed skating, figure skating and other projects.

In order to ensure the stable "output" of lights in the ice and snow world in the cold winter, the team of Professor Zhang Haifeng of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Harbin Institute of Technology developed an intelligent control system for ice and snow landscape lighting, a human-computer interactive lighting control system, etc. These lighting control systems are not only resistant to extreme cold and interactive, but can also provide early warning to tourists and management through color changes.

In terms of event broadcasting: This Asian Winter Games will use 8K ultra-high-definition technology and independently developed Jingcai sound technology for broadcasting. At the same time, the games will also use AI technology to achieve single-language interviews and multi-language distribution to meet the needs of Chinese and foreign media reporters to use one language for interviews and multi-language distribution.
