Fucai plans to spend NT$600 million to purchase equipment from Neptunium to build a 6-inch Micro LED factory
Fucai Holdings announced on November 10 that the board of directors of its subsidiary Epistar has decided to spend NT$600 million to purchase equipment from Nextron Technology. Nextron will provide equipment to assist Epistar in building a 6-inch Micro LED factory, which is expected to be put into production next year. Fucai said that it is estimated that the monthly demand for Micro LED large displays in 2025 will be about 100,000 units, and the annual demand will exceed 1 million units, so Micro LED production capacity is deployed in advance. The current production expansion plan is divided into three phases. The first phase uses Jingcheng’s existing small-scale production capacity, mainly to provide customer verification. The second phase uses Jingdian’s factory to move in equipment production, and the third phase will build a new factory. This transaction is mainly used for the second phase of production expansion.
