Heraeus special light source production base settled in Shenyang Zhongde Park

On July 12, the Heraeus special light source production base project officially started in the Sino-German (Shenyang) High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park. Special light sources are light sources designed and produced for special application fields. They play an important role in many fields such as medical care, industrial production, and even national defense and aerospace.

It is reported that Heraeus is headquartered in Hanau, Germany, and its business covers environmental protection, electronics, health and industrial applications. It currently has 12 market-oriented global business units, among which the Heraeus Conano business unit focuses on the semiconductor and optoelectronics industries and has more than 100 years of professional experience in innovative quartz and fused silica glass solutions.

Since settling in Zhongde Park, Heraeus has continued to increase capital, expand production and expand its layout. It is only nine months since it invested 500 million yuan in the Zhongde Park to build the Heraeus Shin-Etsu quartz semiconductor production base project in October 2022. This time, Heraeus has once again invested an additional 100 million yuan to build a new special light source project.

It is understood that the main products of the Heraeus Special Light Source Production Base project include photon-level solutions from infrared to ultraviolet, which are used in many fields such as environment, electronics, automobiles, new energy and semiconductors. The project is expected to be put into operation in April 2024. After reaching full production, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 300 million yuan and an annual tax of 30 million yuan.
