Today is International Consumer Rights Protection Day! For a time, "anti-counterfeiting" and "quality" have become hot topics for us. Many netizens have revealed on Weibo exposure platforms and Moments that they have been deceived, bought fakes, and suffered dumb losses... As an LED person, the editor has to complain for us LED display consumers. Below, the editor will take stock of the LED display safety accidents that have made consumers miserable in those years.
In March 2010, the "ASE Central Plaza" under construction at the intersection of Ruijin Road, Zhaojiabang Road, Shanghai suddenly caught fire. The fire started from a giant LED screen in the center of the square.
In October 2010, during the Guangzhou International Lighting Festival, the LED screen on the exterior wall of the new Guangzhou Library caught fire. At about 5:30 on October 29, 2015, in the Guangxi Sports Center, the LED display screen and stage light stand that were being built for Jolin Tsai's concert suddenly collapsed. One person died and more than 10 people were injured.
It can be seen from the above dozen safety accidents that collapse and fire are the main safety hazards of LED displays. Watching the shocking scenes, the editor was also frightened. So, how to prevent it? The editor has a tip for consumers.
First of all, instead of looking for bargains, conduct on-site inspections of multiple manufacturers. Different LED display production processes, screen assembly processes, and installation technical experiences will directly affect the construction period, cost, safety performance, display effect and quality, service life, and maintenance costs of LED display production. Therefore, you must carefully compare the performance characteristics of all aspects of products and projects to choose the LED manufacturer that best suits your needs.
Secondly, seek high-quality after-sales service. We often easily ignore the after-sales service of LED display equipment. Many users may think that as long as things are adjusted, what kind of after-sales service is needed? And sometimes I hear dealers fool me, saying that our equipment is good, but the after-sales service is basically just a decoration. Therefore, the after-sales service itself is used as a decoration. But in fact, because LEDs are troublesome to disassemble and have high technical content, the after-sales link is obviously more important than ordinary electrical equipment. Nowadays, many manufacturers promise long-term after-sales service, but most of them send equipment faulty parts back to the manufacturer for repair. Let’s not comment on the scale of these manufacturers. For users, if we can find the bad pixels and deal with them ourselves, do we still need to send them back? Such a promise is not a scam, so what is it?
So, when our consumers buy LED displays, don’t be simple and rude, just understand the price and pay. We not only need to compare the manufacturer's size, brand, reputation, etc., but also pay special attention to after-sales service. We hope that every consumer who purchases an LED display can have 315 protection to prevent safety accidents.
