Innolux and AUO deploy Micro LED, focusing on automotive, medical and other application scenarios

Both panels have entered diverse application fields such as automotive and medical. Innolux provides 27-inch surgical and 13.3-inch mobile diagnosis and treatment "naked 3D display solutions" for different needs such as telemedicine, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative navigation and medical explanation. AUO uses Micro LED transparent display technology to create a "30-inch true three-dimensional effect display" and a "17.3-inch fast black switching transparent touch display", which have been introduced into terminal applications such as smart cockpits and clubs.

General Manager Yang Zhuxiang said that Innolux is actively expanding innovative applications in automotive, medical, metaverse, home theater and other fields, conducting field trials, and striving to export high-quality solutions internationally.

Innolux continues to promote Micro LED technology and develops 9.6-inch flexible automotive display technology with high brightness, low power consumption, flexibility resistance and low reflectivity. This technology complies with the EU OEM5.0 energy saving and carbon reduction standards and is suitable for smart cockpits. The 187-inch seamless QD color conversion Micro LED display technology uses active TFT driver backplane and has a four-sided splicable design to seize business opportunities in the high-end high-definition ultra-large display market.
