LED display industry reshuffle is coming, this is what we should do

my country's LED display industry has experienced rapid development for many years. From the initial era of huge profits to the era of meager profits, and now to the current era of transformation and upgrading, the industry situation and pattern have undergone tremendous changes along the way.

Under the new situation, the market demand for LED display screens has cooled down, and the integration and mergers and acquisitions of industry resources have begun. In the current situation where the "wolf is coming", how to overcome the current difficulties and better meet the future has become the top priority for many companies. In the author's opinion, LED companies have at least the following four things to do:

1. Adhere to independent innovation, develop differentiated products, and lead the market. At a time when conventional LED display products have become "unprofitable", only differentiated products can emerge and blaze a bright road, and to achieve this is inseparable from the company's innovation-driven strategy. Using the sword of innovation, we strive to provide customers with differentiated products and services while ensuring product quality. In addition, enterprise innovation not only refers to technological innovation and product innovation, but also includes innovation in business models and concepts.

2. Find your own positioning and increase the added value of your products. In the era of meager profits, there are many cases of companies going bankrupt and running away due to positioning errors (such as blind expansion). However, homogeneous products with low technical content are often accompanied by low prices when circulating in the market. Therefore, increasing revenue without increasing profits has become a true portrayal of many small and medium-sized enterprises.

The current LED display industry environment is sluggish. Every LED company should find its own positioning, find a model and field suitable for its own development, strive to increase the added value of its products, and open up its own "blue ocean." Of course, increasing the added value of products cannot be achieved overnight, but requires careful research and development and long-term investment by enterprises, for which enterprises must be mentally prepared.

3. Brand strategy. Chinese LED display companies have achieved significant results in terms of product quality and technology, but there is a clear lack of international brands in LED displays. This is one of the reasons why my country and international major brands do not have an advantage in the fight against the epidemic. In the future market competition, comprehensive strength and brand recognition will become the main weights for victory. From a high-level overall perspective, companies should strengthen brand awareness, adhere to brand building, and establish a better brand image.

4. Seize the strategic opportunities for national development. National strategies such as new urbanization construction, "One Belt and One Road", "Mass Entrepreneurship and Mass Innovation", and the "13th Five-Year Plan" scientific and technological system reform will provide huge development space for the LED display industry. Enterprises should follow the trend, seize development opportunities, and strive to make a difference.

In the future, as the wave of industry integration and mergers and acquisitions continues to advance, industry concentration will further increase, and the technological and scale advantages of leading companies will become increasingly prominent. On the road of transformation and upgrading of the LED display industry, companies may wish to move based on the "market" on the basis of adhering to "seeking stability first and then developing", and constantly adjust their development strategies according to market changes, in order to develop steadily in "chaotic times".
