LED multinational group enters Kaohsiung Software Park, investing approximately NT$145 million

The LED multinational group has set up a research and development center in Kaohsiung Software Park. The Export Processing Zone Management Office of the Ministry of Economic Affairs reviewed and approved the investment case of Fuguo Electric and Taiwan Super Times Light Source on the 25th. The total investment amount is NT$145 million, which can create approximately 40 job opportunities.

The approved investment case includes an investment of 100 million yuan by Taiwan Super Times Company, which is engaged in R&D, design and sales of LED filament lamps and LED intelligent lighting products. Fuguo Electric Co., Ltd. invested 45 million yuan to engage in the sale of electrical equipment and provide professional services such as planning and design of electrical system-related facilities.

The management office stated that Super Times Group has been engaged in trade and development of LED chips and energy-saving light source products in mainland China and Hong Kong for more than 30 years, and has successfully introduced its products to the European and American markets. The group believes that Taiwan's resources and talents in industrial design, consulting software and electronic technology can help develop and promote the new generation of LED light source technology, so it decided to use the Kaohsiung Software Park as the R&D center for smart lighting products.

The new generation of LED is more energy-saving and environmentally friendly than traditional incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, energy-saving lamps and other lighting technologies, and has significantly improved luminous efficiency, reliability and lifespan. It is expected to be available for sale in the second half of this year.

Fuguo Electric Co., Ltd. has participated in the construction of power systems in various major construction projects at home and abroad. It focuses on the development of power demand in emerging countries, with Kaohsiung as its operation center, and looks at Asian markets such as Southeast Asia and the Far East.
