LEDinside’s 2025 New Year’s message: Work hard to create a new chapter in LED

2024 is about to pass, and with the global economy still uncertain, the LED industry is moving forward and continuing to seek new development through its own transformation.

This year, the LED industry has entered the sea wave, and the Southeast Asian market has become a new gold nugget; new production lines have come to fruition one after another, and Mini/Micro LED production capacity is ready to go; emerging applications such as movie screens and all-in-one machines have emerged, opening up new ideas for LED display development; AR/VR glasses are "reviving", and LED micro-display technology has ushered in new opportunities; the effect of the "new four modernizations" of automobiles continues, and automotive lighting and automotive displays have become must-haves for LED companies.

Despite the foggy road ahead, the LED industry is moving forward resolutely.

In 2024, as a global high-tech research institution, TrendForce has grown together with the industry, and its optoelectronics research center has achieved rich results: publishing gold+ member reports (LED supply chain database), thematic reports (Mini/Micro LED, LED display, LED lighting, automotive LED, UV LED, IR LED, near-eye display, etc.).

The LEDinside website and WeChat platform provide over 2,000 articles on industry hot topics throughout the year, covering analysis and reviews, industry information, exhibition visits, corporate interviews, panel price trends, etc., disseminating the latest trends in the LED industry in an efficient and professional manner.

This year we also successfully held the 2024 TrendForce New Display Industry Seminar and the 2024 TrendForce Self-luminous Display Industry Seminar. At the conference site, senior analysts and industry experts from TrendForce conducted an in-depth analysis of new display technologies, applications, current status and development trends, and worked closely with the industry. All colleagues face new opportunities and challenges together.
