Mianyang BOE purchases domestic OLED evaporation source equipment

On the evening of May 26, Jilin Aolaide Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Shanghai Shengxi Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the first phase of the Mianyang BOE Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. panel factory technology upgrade project and will provide the core equipment of the line evaporation source for the project. The winning bid amount reached 43.6954 million yuan.

Olade said that the technology upgrading and transformation project won this time will help the company continue to deepen its self-developed technical strength, further consolidate the company's core position in the supply chain of downstream customers, and effectively promote the process of industrial localization and substitution.

It is reported that after the project is successfully implemented, relevant income will be gradually recognized from 2026 to 2027, which is expected to provide positive support for the company's operating performance in the next two fiscal years.

With the winning bid for this project, OLED's OLED materials and evaporation source equipment business once again ushered in new revenue growth momentum.

Today, OLED’s customers include domestic OLED panel manufacturers such as Visionox, Hehui Optoelectronics, TCL CSOT, BOE, and Tianma. Among them, in recent years, the cooperation between OLED and BOE has become increasingly close.

In August last year, Shanghai Shengxi, a subsidiary of Orade, delivered the first batch of 8.6-generation linear evaporation source equipment to BOE.

In September of the same year, OLED and BOE reached a strategic partnership. The two parties will ensure the supply of OLED linear evaporation source equipment, promote innovation in key equipment technology, promote OLED material performance iteration and expand cooperation space.
