Huawei joins hands with Philips Lighting to jointly explore the infinite possibilities of intelligent connected lighting
This cooperation aims to ensure the seamless connection between the Philips Hue home smart lighting system and Huawei's OceanConnect IoT platform.
China, Shanghai - Recently, global lighting leader Philips Lighting (Euronext Amsterdam: LIGHT) and Huawei signed a cooperation agreement to ensure seamless connection between the Philips Hue home smart lighting system and Huawei's OceanConnect Internet of Things (IoT, Internet of Things) platform. Through this cooperation, Huawei has become a "Friends of Hue" partner of Philips. At the same time, Philips Lighting has also become a Huawei OceanConnect partner. End users using Huawei's IoT platform will receive comprehensive Philips Hue certified control and a comprehensive home smart lighting experience.
This cooperation will enhance the seamless connection between Philips Hue series products and other smart devices, systems and applications (Apps) to further enhance user experience. For example, a network security camera with motion detection will trigger an alarm when it detects an intrusion, and will flash red and blue alarm lights in conjunction with the Philips Hue bulbs in the home.
