Qijing Optoelectronics will join hands with Dayi Transportation to release automotive lighting optical applications

Himax Optoelectronics and its subsidiary Weicai Vision Technology announced on the 14th that they will jointly develop advanced LED edge-lit automotive lighting applications with the industry's leading automotive lighting manufacturer Dayi Transportation at CES 2024; in which Weicai Vision provides cutting-edge nano-optical films.

Weicai Vision's nano-optical film provides key technologies for LED metering automotive lighting. The precise microstructure design can accurately control the direction of light, achieving a better light guide effect than traditional optical films, further improving light uniformity and greatly improving light efficiency. It can reduce the number of edge-lit LEDs and help customers reduce costs.

In addition, Micro Vision's nano-optical film supports flexible pattern design, as well as dynamic and multi-grayscale display, injecting new customization and diversified possibilities into automotive lighting applications; Himax Optoelectronics Group continues to be committed to pushing the limits of automotive lighting technology.
