Quanzhou Industrial and Commercial Bureau: 80% of 10 batches of LED lamps were unqualified

Recently, the Quanzhou Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce carried out random inspections of commodity quality in the circulation field in the first quarter of this year at ceramic tile stores, building materials markets, lighting stores, etc. in the Shishi area. A total of 30 batches of three products, namely artificial panels, ceramic tiles, and LED lamps, were sampled. The random inspection results showed that all the ceramic tiles sampled were qualified, but the failure rate of LED lamps was high and the quality was worrying.

It is understood that 10 batches of each of the three products were randomly inspected. The test results showed that: 2 batches of artificial boards were unqualified, and the product's unqualified rate was 20%; 8 batches of LED lamps were unqualified, and the product's unqualified rate was 80%; 0 batches of ceramic tiles were unqualified, and the product's unqualified rate was 100%. According to industrial and commercial personnel, from the random inspections, the main reason for the static bending strength of the artificial panels is that the static bending strength does not meet the requirements, and the formaldehyde emission exceeds the standard; the main reason for the LED lamps is that the marking is unqualified, and the dielectric strength does not meet the requirements.

For businesses that fail the random inspection, the Quanzhou City Industrial and Commercial Bureau has arranged for the Shishi City Industrial and Commercial Bureau to investigate and deal with them. Quanzhou Industry and Commerce reminds consumers that when choosing lamps, they should pay attention to the "CCC" certification mark. If you find product quality problems, you should keep the original packaging, bring the invoice and the problematic product, and file a complaint with the relevant department in a timely manner.
