This time, Raontech focused on the gaze point display technology, which can freely switch between high and low resolution on a single screen according to the user's gaze, thereby reducing the power consumption of the display. This technology is conducive to achieving ultra-high resolution image quality with low power consumption in MR devices.
Raontech stated that since AI glasses must be equipped with ultra-high-resolution displays, the display industry and complete machine companies regard gaze point display technology as an important direction for the development of near-eye display technology in the future. Currently, foveation point display technology is used on Apple’s MR device Vision Pro.

Raontech CEO said that through the use of foveated point display technology, the amount of image data in near-eye displays can be reduced to one-tenth of the existing data amount, and can provide a more high-resolution display effect.
0.38-inch AR full-color LEDoS panel
Raontech introduced that gaze point display technology can be applied to LCoS, OLEDoS and LEDoS near-eye display solutions. Currently, Raontech has obtained three related patents, and the company plans to take the lead in applying gaze point display technology to OLEDoS solutions.
At this exhibition, Raontech also launched a 0.38-inch AR full-color LEDoS panel and a new micro-display panel drive control system chip (SoC) product for XR devices. The chip size has become smaller, supports up to 4K resolution, and has reduced power consumption by 40%.
Information shows that Raontech is a waferless micro-display technology manufacturer. It has mature LCoS technology and is currently extending its development to Micro OLED and Micro LED technology. Just this month, Raontech announced that the company signed an agreement with customers in the Micro LED field and reached a Micro LED backplane wafer supply contract worth approximately 2.8 billion won (approximately RMB 14.73 million).
