Received investment three times in one month, Rokid welcomes corporate capital injection again

On May 6, Shanghai Awin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. announced that it had officially announced a strategic cooperation with the AI glasses company Rokid and became a strategic investment shareholder of Rokid. The two parties will focus on next-generation space computing equipment and carry out in-depth cooperation in the entire process of chip definition, joint research and development, product implementation and ecological co-construction.

Founded in 2008, Awinic Electronics is a high-performance digital-analog hybrid chip design company. The company's products are widely used in consumer electronics, industrial interconnection, automobiles and other fields.

In the field of smart glasses, Awinic has formed a multi-modal sensing chip system that covers hearing, vision, touch, and power management. In the visual part, Awinic Electronics continues to obtain the latest achievements in visual-related chip technologies such as display driving, lighting effect control, and image signal processing, which can provide technical support for AR displays.

+It is worth noting that in 2026, Rokid received intensive investment. In the past month, Rokid has received investment from three companies. In addition to the strategic cooperation with Awinic Electronics, on April 22, domestic resin lens company Connet Optics announced a long-term cooperation with Rokid, covering core content such as product production capacity planning, delivery cycle, equipment investment scale, supply priority, and customer long-term order guarantee. Connet Optics also invested 180 million yuan to participate in Rokid’s new round of financing, subscribing for no more than 5% of its equity.

On the same day, Highpower Technology, which specializes in lithium-ion batteries and nickel-metal hydride batteries, also announced the completion of its strategic investment in Rokid. This investment is intended to support Rokid’s innovative research and development in the field of Home A.I. and further promote the innovation of human-computer interaction technology.

In March this year, Rokid also received a strategic investment of 90 million yuan from Huace Film and Television. From January 24 to 29, 2026, Rokid completed four rounds of intensive capital increases and share expansions within 6 days. The registered capital increased from 2.8752 million yuan to 13.959 million yuan, and industrial giants such as Lens Technology and SenseTime were introduced.

Among them, Lens Technology not only became a strategic shareholder, but also served as Rokid’s exclusive manufacturing partner; SenseTime Technology provided in-depth support for the core algorithm.

With the continuous addition of investment funds, Rokid’s registered capital has now increased to 35.7084 million yuan.
