In order to reach a consensus on information and ideas, and to better communicate and collaborate with suppliers, Absen hosted the 2016 Global Supply Chain Conference with the theme of "Rigorous Efficiency, Common Growth" on September 23 in Tianan Cloud Valley. Absen requires suppliers to follow the principle of "rigor and efficiency" and the goal of "common growth" to create a new future for the industry with Absen.
Mr. Li Haitao, President of Absen
Mr. Li Haitao, President of Absen, gave a report on the theme of Absen's "Transformation-On the Road". The report elaborates on Absen's current competitive opportunities and new challenges from three aspects: changes in the industry, what Absen is doing, and Absen's cooperation ideas with suppliers. In terms of ideas for cooperation with suppliers, Mr. Li Haitao said that Absen currently and in the future needs to improve supply chain efficiency and establish a professional supplier management system so that Absen can move from the integrated supply stage to the value engineering stage.
Mr. Wu Jie, Product Director of Absen
Mr. Wu Jie, Product Director of Absen, elaborated on Absen's future product strategy through a report speech titled "Seizing Opportunities and Win-Win Cooperation". Mr. Wu Jie elaborated on the current market opportunities for LED display companies through the three market segments of advertising, leasing and sports. He also analyzed that new market opportunities have put forward new requirements for suppliers. Based on the advent of market opportunities, in terms of supply chain, Mr. Wu Jie also proposed to solve the conflicting issues of customer diversification and supply chain standardization.
Mr. Shi Changjin, Absen Technology R&D Director
A good product planning is inseparable from R&D. Following the product strategic planning of Mr. Wu Jie, the product director, Mr. Shi Changjin, the R&D director of Absen, proposed six major directions for the three-year plan of Absen's technology R&D management. He said that the current LED chip and packaging technology are still the main factors driving the progress of the industry, as the spacing becomes denser and denser. The cost ratio of LED to the display screen is getting higher and higher. At the same time, the size and shape of the package determine all subsequent supporting design and manufacturing. At this stage, Absen does not touch the chip or the content. It just makes the display and grafts the supplier's connectors through Absen's display.

Mr. Fu Zheng, Director of Strategic Procurement, introduced in detail how Absen builds a rigorous and efficient supply chain system with suppliers from five aspects: Absen's procurement system and procurement support, company procurement management meetings and concepts, supplier management, supply chain requirements and vision, to achieve contribution and mutual growth.

Finally, Mr. Ding Yanhui, the founder of Absen, made a "criticism" of the current status of Absen's supply chain and the company's development. Mr. Ding Yanhui said that Absen's growth rate in the past three years has been too flat and has not met his personal expectations. Regarding current supply chain issues, from the theme of his speech at the supply chain conference in 2013 before the launch of "We are brothers in the same trench" to today's theme of "Please don't treat me as a customer", he analyzed the strong relationship between suppliers and Absen step by step, and concluded that the second half of "Don't treat me as a customer" is "I'm just your salesman". In simple terms, tell suppliers how they should work side by side with Absen to meet future opportunities and challenges.
