Samsung displays its Micro LED TVs in more stores, but prices remain “unaffordable”

According to news on July 24, Samsung is currently the only brand selling TVs equipped with Micro LED panels to consumers. As an upgraded version of OLED technology, Micro LED is hailed as the pinnacle of display technology. However, Micro LED TVs are currently still very niche due to their large size, high price and limited visibility.

In order to solve the problem of visibility, Samsung is working hard to increase the opportunities for consumers to experience Micro LED TVs, at least in its home market of South Korea. Previously, Korean consumers could only experience Micro LED TVs at specific Samsung stores in major metropolitan areas such as Seoul, Shinsegae Department Store and Lotte Department Store.

And now, Samsung has begun to display Micro LED in more regions TVs, including Shinsegae Department Store in Daegu and Busan and Lotte Department Store in Busan. Samsung said that this move will give more consumers the opportunity to experience the stunning effect of Micro LED TVs.

It is understood that Samsung currently offers five sizes of Micro LED TVs: 76 inches, 89 inches, 101 inch, 110-inch and 114-inch, the National Bank price ranges from 649,999 yuan to 1,249,999 yuan.
