Shiya Technology purchases additional evaporation equipment from Korean companies

Recently, Korean media reported that Korean display equipment manufacturer Sunic System announced on the 27th that it had successfully obtained additional orders for evaporation equipment for the mass production of Micro OLED (silicon-based OLED) from Chinese display company SeeYA Display. This signing is a follow-up purchase based on the previous good supply performance of both parties, aiming to cooperate with customers to expand production scale and accelerate mass production stabilization strategy.

Information shows that Shiya Technology is a provider of overall micro-display solutions. Its core product is Micro OLED micro-display, and it provides customers with value-added services including strategic product development, optical systems and XR overall solutions. Shiya Technology has independently developed and achieved mass production of the world's first 12-inch Micro OLED microdisplay device production line.

At present, Shiya Technology's products have entered multiple high-end display scenarios such as AR glasses, VR headsets, drone image transmission, medical headsets, and night vision devices. Its customers include global first-tier brands such as ByteDance, Shadowstone Innovation, Thunderbird, Lenovo, and Varjo.

It is worth noting that on March 25, Shiya Technology was officially listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology Innovation Board. The company plans to raise 2.015 billion yuan for the ultra-high-resolution silicon-based OLED micro display device production line expansion project and the R&D center construction project.

On the other hand, Korean media said that since the beginning of 2026, Sunic System has shown strong momentum in receiving orders. In January, it signed a contract of approximately 41 billion won with Jinan Goerpixel, and in February it reached a supply agreement of approximately 20.6 billion won with Anhui Hongxi Technology.

Including this additional order, Sunic System's cumulative order volume this year has exceeded 60 billion won (approximately RMB 275 million), which also marks that the demand for Micro OLED equipment has officially entered a stage of structural growth.

The relevant person in charge of Sunic System stated that the Micro OLED mass production investment plans of major customers are becoming increasingly concrete, and the industry has surpassed the initial pilot stage and officially launched large-scale production line expansion. This additional order is a substantial measure taken by the customer to establish its production capacity advantage. In the future, the company will continue to strengthen its competitive position in the international Micro OLED market by relying on its first-mover technology advantages and rich mass production experience.

In addition, Sunic System is actively establishing medium- and long-term growth momentum through diversified layout.
