Zhaochi Co., Ltd.’s COB production capacity reaches 16,000 square meters per month
On July 10th, Zhaochi Co., Ltd. (002429.SZ) disclosed an investor relations activity record sheet that showed that the company’s current monthly COB production capacity has reached 16,000 square meters, and new production lines are gradually coming into the market. It is expected that the company’s COB monthly production capacity will exceed 20,000 square meters in September. As of now, Zhaochi's crystal display shipments account for more than 50% of the COB industry.
Zhongqi’s large-scale manufacturing capacity has now reached 8000m²/month
According to the official Weibo of Zhongqi Optoelectronics, in June, Zhongqi’s P0.7 product achieved a single-month order volume of over 500 square meters. Currently, Zhongqi's large-scale manufacturing capacity has reached 8000m²/month.
At present, Zhongqi Optoelectronics mainly promotes the two major technical routes of COB and MIP, positioning itself as a professional LED direct display manufacturer, only manufacturing but notbrand. Zhongqi Optoelectronics believes that this year is the explosive year of COB, which has gradually replaced SMD; currently Zhongqi COB technology is mainly used in indoor small-pitch micro-pitch, curved, and special-shaped LEDs, which can be combined with virtual pixels for customized production; in terms of MIP, the focal length must be below P0.6 for quasi-Micro LED displays, DCI color gamut cinema screens, XR virtual shooting and other fields. Currently, MIP0404 products have been launched, and P0.6 and P0.9 products can currently be produced.
Total investment 1.2 billion! Another MLED COB packaging production line has settled in Anyang
Recently, the Anyang Media Center and the Anyang Municipal People's Government website of Henan Province showed that Ruisen Display will build 10 fully automatic Mini/Micro LED mass transfer COB packaging production lines locally.
According to previous news, Ruisen Display will implement investment and construction of production line projects in Anyang City step by step, as well as Micro LED full-color light-emitting chip production lines and R&D centers, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan in the first phase. Once completed, it will accelerate the construction of a new display industry chain system in Anyang City.
Rissen Display is a company dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of third-generation semiconductor gallium nitride optoelectronic devices and emerging display modules; Qichacha information shows that Rissen Display was established in March 2024, with Jiangsu Chuanchuan Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. holding 70% of the shares and Anyang High-tech Zone Construction Investment Co., Ltd. holding 30%.
Xuxian Future Hunan smart factory mass-produces Mini LED large screensRecently, Xuxian Future said that there is good news from its Hunan smart factory that has been completed and put into production. The first batch of Mini LED display boxes in the factory have been successfully lit recently. This is also Xu Xian’s third smart factory in the country that has successfully achieved mass production of new display products.
It is reported that Xuxian Future Hunan Smart Factory Project started construction on July 28, 2023. It took 9 months to complete the project construction and installation and commissioning of process equipment, meeting the requirements for production. With the successful completion of the factory's first batch of Mini LED display boxes, it indicates that the Mini LED display module project has officially entered the expansion stage of production. The factory can produce 66,000 square meters of Mini LED display modules annually.
The project plans to have 50 advanced production lines and is committed to building a modern R&D and production base integrating informatization, digitalization, automation and intelligence. In terms of industrial chain ecological construction, the project will deeply integrate MicroEmerging technologies such as LED, virtual shooting, virtual reality, and outdoor ultra-high-definition display will create a world-class smart display park.
The project has a total investment of 1 billion yuan and will be implemented in two phases. The first phase investment is 500 million yuan, the equipment investment is about 250 million yuan, and the leased industrial plant in the medical industrial park is about 12,000 square meters. It is expected to be put into operation in 2025, and the output value will be no less than 500 million yuan after reaching full capacity.
In the first phase, it is planned to build an Industry 4.0 fully automatic production line. After completion, it will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 square meters of third-generation LED micro-pitch commercial display screens. This product uses dynamic scanning technology and has the advantages of high integration, delicate image effects, and high color reproduction. It can be widely used in command and control centers, conference centers, radio and television studios, xR virtual shooting and other fields.
It is reported that Ipas JiangmenjiWith a total investment of 500 million yuan, it mainly produces BT plates for MIP and COB, black film materials for Mini/Micro LED, IC packaging BT plates and ABF-like film materials. After completion, it can achieve an annual production capacity of 3 million square meters of BT plates and 1 million square meters of ABF-like film materials (including COB black film materials). BT substrate materials and ABF films are key core raw materials upstream of IC substrates.
Xiamen Stain Micro LED silicon-based monolithic bonding production line was lit up
On June 25, the "Micro LED silicon-based monolithic bonding production line" invested and built by Xiamen Stain in Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone was successfully lit up, and the project entered the mass production stage.
It is reported that the Xiamen Stan project has a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan. The project has the ability to produce nearly 10 million sets of Micro LED display chips annually, including three major product specifications of 0.13 inches, 0.2 inches, and 0.45 inches. It is mainly targeted at the two major application markets of AR (augmented reality)/XR (extended reality) and vehicle-mounted display. After the project is put into mass production, the product yield is expected to reach more than 80%.
Xiamen Tianma Micro LED production line was lit up
On June 26, the Micro LED production line of Tianma New Display Technology Research Institute in Tongxiang High-tech City (Xiang'an District) also started to light up, and the project entered the trial production and trial production stage.
