TCL investment, LED lighting related company Angbao Electronics launches IPO

Recently, the official website of the China Securities Regulatory Commission disclosed that Angbao Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Angbao Electronics") has completed the guidance registration with the Shanghai Securities Regulatory Bureau. According to the filing documents, the company’s coaching institution is Huatai United Securities, and the two parties signed a coaching agreement on August 22.

According to data, Angbao Electronics was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Shanghai Zhangjiang High-Tech Park. The company's controlling shareholder is SiBright Semiconductor Limited, with a shareholding ratio of 23.55%.

In terms of business layout, Angbao Electronics' core product lines are mainly power management chips, covering AC/DC, fast charging protocol chips, DC/DC, motor drivers, LED lighting and backlight drivers, gate drivers, LDOs, etc.

At the same time, the company has also expanded into signal chains (Class D, RF), motor drives and MCUs, providing overall solutions from controller SoC, analog devices to protocol stacks.

Among them, AC/DC products have been widely used in consumer electronics, computers, communications, LED lighting and industrial fields, and have gradually entered the automotive market. They now cover the full power range below 500W, and plan to launch a variety of 1000W grade products.

At the capital level, the company’s latest financing occurred in March 2023. At that time, Angbao Electronics completed a strategic round of financing, jointly led by Heli Capital and Shangqi Capital. Liansheng Venture Capital, TCL, China Internet Investment Fund, Baoding Investment, CICC Capital, Little Orca Capital, etc. participated in the investment. Old shareholder Wu Yuefeng Science and Technology also invested additionally.
