Guangzhou

In March 2015, an airport high-tech (optoelectronics) industrial base of 16.5 square kilometers was planned in the airport logistics and clean high-tech industry area in the north of the airport, focusing on the development of high-tech industries such as electronic information, semiconductor lighting (LED), biopharmaceuticals, energy conservation and environmental protection, and intelligent manufacturing.

It is understood that this district has officially joined hands with the Zhongda Zinc Oxide LED project. This project will help China bypass foreign patent blockades and also make Huadu’s LED industry chain a core part, making the industry chain more complete. There are 23 enterprises settled in the airport high-tech industrial base, including a number of LED and high-tech enterprises such as Hongli Optoelectronics, Laidiya Lighting, Liangmeiji Lighting, and Meanwell Electronics. In 2014, the industrial base achieved a total industrial output value of approximately 2.7 billion yuan and a tax revenue of approximately 270 million yuan.

Heyuan

On March 3, 2015, Jiangdong New District of Heyuan City and the Guangdong Semiconductor Lighting Industry Joint Innovation Center reached a strategic cooperation to build an LED industry base in Heyuan. This is also the first LED industry base outside the nine cities in the Pearl River Delta.

Beijing Ancient Town

The China Lighting Capital (Beijing) Direct Sales Base is located in the famous Shilihe Business District in Beijing. The project has a total construction area of ​​more than 70,000 square meters. It is a five-star direct sales platform integrating brand lighting display, retail, wholesale, engineering, and export sales. It will make full use of the dual power of the base’s direct sales and corporate branding to target terminals, becoming a bold attempt for the ancient town’s lighting industry to upgrade from a simple industrial supply chain enterprise cluster to a comprehensive service platform.

Zhongshan Ancient Town

The lighting industry cluster with an annual output value of over 100 billion yuan has become one of the world's largest professional lighting markets and the largest professional lighting production base and wholesale market in China.

Among them, the lighting industry is the leading industry of the ancient town and the economic pillar of the ancient town. In 2014, under the background of Guangdong Province and Jiangmen City jointly building the Jiangmen Green Light Source Industrial Base, the city took the cultivation and expansion of strategic emerging industries such as new light sources as the main direction to promote the development of the real economy, and focused on introducing a number of industry leading enterprises and key enterprises.

At the end of 2014, there were more than 1,000 enterprises engaged in green light source (LED) industry production in Jiangmen City. In 2013, the city's total green light source (LED) industrial output value reached 22.741 billion yuan. Jiangmen National High-tech Zone is already the largest LED production base in South China, with more than 400 registered LED companies. There are currently more than 500 LED packaging production lines.

At present, a complete industrial chain of upstream, midstream and downstream from "epitaxy - chip - packaging - application - product testing - product trading" has been formed.

Xiamen

In 2015, one of the largest high-end LED display industrial parks in China was officially launched in the Torch High-tech Zone (Xiang'an) Industrial Zone; Xiamen accounts for about 40% of the country's LED bulb exports, and even supplies them exclusively to the Palace of Versailles in France... Judging from the growth momentum, by 2020, Xiamen's LED industry chain is expected to reach an output value of 100 billion. The project has a planned construction area of ​​approximately 93,400 square meters and will be built into one of the largest high-end LED display industrial parks in China.

The completed industrial park will integrate the headquarters office, LED display and LED lighting product industrialization base, engineering company, marketing company, and national technology center/key laboratory.

Chongqing

In August 2010, Sanxiong Aurora invested 400 million yuan to build a Wanzhou production base. After the project was completed and put into operation, Wanzhou became one of the main production bases for Sanxiong Aurora lighting products. In 2015, Sanxiong.Aurora Wanzhou production base mainly produced energy-saving lamps, quartz lamps, T5 brackets, LED downlights, electronic ballasts and other green lighting products. It had nearly 2,000 employees and sales revenue of nearly 2 billion yuan.

Wanzhou Sanxiong Aurora continues to introduce new technologies and new equipment, expand the existing production scale, expand the commercial, home, engineering, outdoor and LED lighting fields, and achieve full coverage of lighting products in the Wanzhou production base. According to reports, in the next 3-5 years, Dongsong Sanxiong also plans to build a 200,000-square-meter factory to expand production scale, provide employment for 3,000-4,000 people, and achieve the goal of adding an output value of 1 billion yuan to the LED industry cluster.

In 2013, Sharon Technology announced the official start of construction of Sharon Technology LED (Chongqing) Industrial Park. The entire base covers an area of ​​107 acres, with a total construction area of ​​143,721 square meters and a total investment of 360 million yuan.

It will be built into 5 LED radiator production lines, 5 LED indoor lighting product production lines, 3 LED lighting landscape engineering product production lines, 3 LED street light and LED tunnel light production lines, 3 LED driver production lines, and 3 LED export lighting product production lines, reaching an annual production volume of 800 million yuan.

Bengbu, Anhui

After nearly a year of construction, the first phase of the Bengbu LED Industrial Base started by Dehao Runda in January 2014 has been officially put into operation. The annual output of LED flip-chips is approximately 1.5 billion. After all projects are completed and reached production capacity, they will be able to undertake 50,000 4-6-inch epitaxial wafers per month, with an annual output of approximately 5 billion LED flip-chips.

Chenzhou, Hunan

In 2014, Li Xuehui, deputy director of the Chenzhou High-tech Zone Management Committee, said that the goal is to build the largest LED product production base in Hunan and make Chenzhou the hometown of LED. Chenzhou High-tech Zone has increased its efforts to attract investment from LED companies, helping LED companies settled in the park to obtain relevant industrial policies from the province and city to comprehensively support the development of the LED industry.

It has successively introduced dozens of LED companies such as Hualei Optoelectronics, Delta Electronics, Philips Lighting, Changqi New Energy, Jushen Electronics, Huazhuo Optoelectronics, and Walter Optoelectronics, becoming the main battlefield of the Chenzhou LED industry cluster.

Jinan

In 2015, Foxconn is expected to build its own brand of LED lighting by building a new production base in Heze, Jinan. In the LED field, Foxconn is trying to take the independent brand route and create a complete LED industry chain.

At present, Foxconn’s LED business revenue mainly comes from government orders, brand OEM, and the group’s own lighting replacement. While Foxconn is OEM for international lighting giants such as Philips and General Electric, it is also developing its own brands in the fields of LED displays and LED lighting products. Foxconn has signed a contract to invest US$500 million in Jinan to build an LED production base, mainly involving lighting, packaging, large display screens, etc.

Wanzai County in Jiangxi Province

The Department of Science and Technology of Jiangxi Province newly announced the list of high-tech industrialization carriers for 2014. Wanzai County was recognized as the "High-tech Industrialization Base for LED Lighting in Jiangxi Province.

Nanchang, Jiangxi Province

September 2014 Hongli Optoelectronics plans to acquire 300 acres of land to invest in the construction of an LED industrial base in the Linkong Economic Zone Management Committee Park of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, with a reservation period of three years. The project plans to invest 1.009 billion yuan in the base to mainly develop, produce, and sell LED packaging devices and LED lighting application products.

After the project is fully reached, the annual production capacity of LED devices will be approximately 16,200KK (calculated using 3014 single cores as a representative), the annual LED application production capacity will be approximately 90 million PCS (calculated using LED bulbs as a representative), and the total average annual output value will be 1.584 billion yuan.

Yunnan Yanshan County

In December 2014, the LED R&D and production base construction project invested and constructed by Yunnan Electric Power Investment Co., Ltd. was officially signed in Yanshan County. The project has a total investment of 300 million yuan and plans to build an LED R&D, packaging, application lighting and photovoltaic component production base. The project will be constructed in two phases.

Among them: the first phase investment is 100 million yuan, renting two standardized factories in Yanshan County's industrial transfer processing zone to build 10 production lines focusing on LED packaging, solar energy, LED commercial lighting, industrial lighting, and energy-saving lighting projects. After completion and commissioning, the annual output value can reach 200 million yuan; in the second phase, an additional investment of 200 million yuan is planned depending on the progress of the first phase project.

After the first and second phases of the project are completed and put into normal production, the annual output value will reach 800 million yuan, providing employment for more than 400 people. At present, the company is working hard to obtain business licenses and other relevant documents, decorate the factory building, and purchase machinery and equipment. It plans to complete the first phase of construction and put into production before the first quarter of 2015.

Hebei

Hebei Chaori Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. was established in December 2009. It is currently the largest professional LED industrial park in North China.

Yuanyang, Henan Province

In November 2013, the Yuanyang County Government of Henan Province and Yuanyang County Hengtailong Lighting Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd. held a grand signing ceremony at the Yuanyang County Government. Kou Jianjun, chairman of Yuanyang County Hengtailong Lighting Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd., said that the Hengtailong Lighting Industrial Park project plans to build the largest LED green lighting industry base in Central Plains in 2-3 years.

The first phase of Hengtailong Lighting Industrial Park covers an area of ​​1,000 acres, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan. It plans to introduce more than 40 LED lighting finished products and related supporting companies to settle in. Industry insiders believe that Yuanyang County is separated from Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province, by a river and connected by four bridges. It is not only the southern gate of Xinxiang, but also the back garden of Zhengzhou. It has a unique geographical location and is the first choice area to undertake the transfer of the LED lighting industry.

Jilin

In September 2013, the LED green lighting (Northeast) industrial base project and LED epitaxial chip high-tech production project started production in Jilin Economic Development Zone. The project has a total investment of 2 billion yuan, an area of ​​102,000 square meters, and an output value of 300 million yuan in 2014.

After the project is fully put into operation, it will achieve an annual output value of 10 billion yuan and a tax of 1 billion yuan. It will become the largest LED industry base in the three northeastern provinces, making Jilin Province's LED industry enter the world's advanced ranks.

Shenzhen

Guangyuan International LED Lighting Industry Base is located on the fourth floor of the No. 1 Exchange Plaza in China South City, Shenzhen. The first phase of planning area in 2014 is 40,000 square meters. It is an LED industry tourism base focusing on LED light environment, light culture, light wisdom, and light art. It is also an LED technology and culture shopping plaza integrating product display, trading, and tourism.

The park brings together domestic and foreign new light source lighting products, including raw materials, lamps, components and various application products. It is a large-scale LED lighting exhibition and trade center built by Shenzhen China South City that integrates lighting fixtures, LED lighting, wholesale, retail and other related supporting industries.

Huizhou

In 2014, Furi Electronics announced that the company's holding subsidiary Shenzhen Marui Optoelectronics, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Huizhou Marui Optoelectronics, will invest no more than 223 million yuan to build the "Huizhou LED Product Production R&D Base Project."

The project covers an area of ​​32,585.4 square meters and the construction area is expected to be 62,600 square meters. It will be used for the construction of the company's R&D, production, sales, office and supporting support facilities. The project construction period is approximately two years. Huizhou Marui has signed an agreement with the Huizhou Zhongkai High-tech Zone Dongjiang Management Committee to settle the R&D base project in the Dongjiang Industrial Park of Huizhou Zhongkai High-tech Zone.

Xinjiang

In May 2014, the second phase of the LED sapphire crystal industrialization base project invested by a Xinjiang Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. officially started construction in the North District Industrial Park of Urumqi High-tech Zone, marking the official start of the construction of Xinjiang's LED blue industry chain.

The second phase project of the LED sapphire crystal industrialization base invested by the Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 90 million yuan. It will build a high-end LED technology research and development center, a testing center, an LED intelligent lighting product experience exhibition hall, and expand 50 35kg-90kg LED sapphire crystal bubble furnaces, a light-emitting diode packaging line and two LED lamp production lines.
