Especially when he saw that many people in Qiaojia County, which was severely affected by the disaster, were homeless and without water and electricity, he was not happy about the bad news that came one after another, so he called the Qiaojia Civil Affairs Bureau.
Zhong Jiaquan is the chairman of a company in Chengdu. During the May 12 Wenchuan earthquake, the school he opened accepted 63 students. In 2011, his company spent 180,000 yuan to donate clothes, school supplies, etc. to two schools in Liangshan. What are the disaster areas lacking most now? The Civil Affairs Bureau said it was lighting equipment. Therefore, Zhong Jiaquan decided to donate 10,000 LED energy-saving lamps to the disaster area in the name of the company. "Energy-saving lamps are not only easy to carry, but also consume less power and will reduce the pressure on the disaster area."
In addition to LED lamps, the aid also included 100 pieces of instant noodles , 100 pieces of mineral water, and were accompanied by 6 professional workers who were responsible for installing LED lights for people in the disaster area. "The local situation is complicated and materials are scarce. Many families do not know how to install it, or the conditions do not allow it. The workers brought sufficient backup resources and were able to completely help them solve the problem." Zhong Jiaquan said that after a nine-hour journey, the lamps have arrived at Qiaojia, and light has been restored in many homes. Zhong Jiaquan said that this is the first batch of supplies and is expected to be installed within three days. If there is still an urgent need, a second batch will be dispatched.
