On May 27, Changxin Technology issued an announcement stating that its subsidiary Wuhu Changxin Intelligent Computer Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Changxin Intelligent Computer") planned to purchase servers from multiple suppliers based on its business development needs and sign relevant procurement contracts. The total purchase contract amount is expected to not exceed RMB 3 billion.

Changxin Intelligent Computing’s purchase of servers is mainly used to provide computing power services to customers. This transaction does not constitute a major asset reorganization nor a related transaction. Because this transaction is for commercial confidentiality and strategic development considerations, the specific information of the counterparty will not be disclosed.

Information shows that Changxin Technology specializes in the research and development, production, sales and service of key basic materials and devices in flat panel display devices. Its products include ITO transparent conductive glass, touch sensors and modules, TFT-LCD panel thinning, high-end mobile phone LCM liquid crystal modules, etc.

Changxin Technology stated that this planned purchase of computing power servers worth a total of 3 billion yuan is a core strategic investment for the company’s subsidiary Changxin Intelligent Computing to develop market-oriented computing power service business. This investment will comprehensively consolidate the hardware foundation of the intelligent computing business, accelerate the layout and implementation of large-scale computing power clusters, effectively empower the company's large-scale and high-quality development of computing power business, steadily cultivate the second growth curve, and continue to build a strategic pattern of two-wheel coordinated development of "traditional display main business + emerging computing power industry". It has far-reaching and critical strategic significance for optimizing the company's overall business structure, improving industrial layout, and enhancing core competitiveness and long-term operating value.
