According to the "Semiconductor Lighting Energy Saving Industry Plan" jointly issued by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other six ministries and commissions in 2013, this year, all incandescent lamps for general lighting above 60W will be eliminated and replaced by LED lamps. The quality of the LED market is currently worrying. In the first quarter of 2014, random inspections by the Jiangsu Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau showed that the qualification rate of 50 batches of products sold on the market was only 30%. The Guangzhou Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce released a lamp sampling inspection report on May 21 this year. Among the 70 samples inspected by 45 companies, 40 were unqualified, with a failure rate as high as 57.14%. Well-known manufacturing brands such as NVC Lighting, Baoshida, Langshi Lighting and Foshan Lighting are on the "black list", and most of the unqualified products are LED lights.
Low pass rate: the problem has not been solved in two years
According to the quality analysis report of LED lighting products and energy-saving lamp products in the first quarter of 2014 by the Jiangsu Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau, a total of 85 batches of energy-saving lamp products were randomly inspected during this supervision, and 59 batches were qualified, with a pass rate of 69.4%. The pass rate of LED lamps is slightly lower, with 103 batches of products having a pass rate of 60.2%, of which 53 batches of products in the production field have a pass rate of 88.7%. The pass rate of 50 batches of products sold on the market is only 30%, and there are many quality problems. Among them, the non-conformity issues mainly focus on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), which refers to the ability of a device or system to operate in compliance with the requirements in its electromagnetic environment without causing intolerable electromagnetic interference to any equipment in its environment.
On May 21, 2015, the Guangzhou Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce conducted a random inspection of LEDs on the market. Among the 40 lamps that failed the random inspection, 29 lamps had unqualified power terminal harassment voltage, accounting for 72.5% of the unqualified lamps.
It is understood that among the lamps that failed to pass the random inspection, three lamps with the nominal trademarks "NVC Lighting" and "NVC" all have this problem. Industry insiders said that within two years, the results of random inspections in the two places were basically unqualified in terms of electromagnetic compatibility. The consequences of failure are electromagnetic pollution, disturbing the normal operation of surrounding electronic equipment, and in serious cases, it may have adverse effects on the safe operation of the power grid and human health.
The price difference is huge: the difference between light bulbs with the same power is 200 times
A market survey in Nanjing found that many lighting manufacturers advertise that their products are the latest LED lighting products, but the prices vary widely. A Philips LED bulb with the same power costs nearly 600 yuan, while the cheapest Omanko LED bulb costs only about 3 yuan, a difference of 200 times.
A lighting fixture owner in Jinsheng Department Store told reporters that five years ago, an LED bulb cost more than 300 yuan. At the end of 2013, it only cost more than 20 yuan. The current price has dropped by about 40% year-on-year. The price of an LED bulb is about 10 yuan, which is considered a reasonable price. But why the price is so different? In fact, it is mainly due to the difference in function. Generally, families can buy ordinary LED bulbs and do not need to spend money to buy professional LED bulbs.
How to choose qualified LED lights
How do consumers choose a qualified LED light when purchasing? Take a look at whether the product labels are complete. Regular product labels are often relatively standardized. At least the following should be marked: trademark and manufacturer name, product model specifications, rated voltage, rated frequency, and rated power. Check whether the product model is consistent with the model specifications in the inspection report and certification certificate, and whether the electrical parameters are correctly marked. Second, check whether the power cord of the LED lamp has the CCC safety certification mark. The power cord should not be too thin. Third, check whether the live parts of the LED lamp are exposed. After the light source is installed in the lamp holder, fingers should not be able to touch the live metal lamp holder; there should be no holes on the lamp that fingers can touch the live parts. Fourth, look at the light and color performance of LED lighting products, which directly reflects the quality and performance of the product. For household LED lighting products, it is recommended to choose products with a correlated color temperature no higher than 5000K, warm white light or yellow light.
