Unilumin plans to acquire 95% of the equity of Shike Innovation to deepen its layout in consumer lighting

On August 11, Unilumin Technology announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Shenzhen Qianhai Zhouming Investment Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qianhai Unilumin") plans to further acquire 83.4587% of the equity of Shenzhen Shike Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. with its own funds of 17.0975 million yuan. After the acquisition is completed, Qianhai Zhouming will hold a total of 95.3541% of the equity of Shike Innovation and become the largest shareholder of Shike Innovation.

Data show that Shike Innovation’s business scope includes: manufacturing and sales of smart home consumer equipment, electronic components and electromechanical component equipment, manufacturing and sales of power electronic components, R&D and sales of household appliances, manufacturing and sales of lighting fixtures, manufacturing and sales of wearable smart devices, manufacturing and sales of special electronic materials, etc.

In fact, in the past two years, Unilumin Technology has continued to increase capital and innovate at the right time, trying to explore the development of consumer lighting application business. In 2021, Qianhai Unilumin, a subsidiary of Unilumin, increased capital in Shike Innovation with its own capital of RMB 1.58 million, accounting for 5% of the company's equity. In September 2022, Qianhai Zhouming once again increased its investment in Shike Innovation with RMB 6 million of its own funds, raising its shareholding ratio to 11.8954%.

Regarding this acquisition of Timely Innovation, Unilumin Technology stated that the purpose of the acquisition is to further promote the implementation of the company's overall strategy, enhance the company's competitiveness in the field of consumer application products, and promote the progress of cultivating and incubating new smart entertainment lighting product businesses.

At present, Unilumin Technology's products are mainly divided into three parts: smart display, smart lighting and cultural and creative lighting. Among them, smart lighting includes outdoor smart light pole products, indoor high-end architectural lighting and lighting solutions, etc.; cultural and creative lighting mainly creates design solutions that integrate art, technology and culture.

As Unilumin Technology completes the acquisition of Shike Innovation, Unilumin Technology’s lighting The business will further extend from the commercial and professional fields to the consumer field.
