From February 24th to 27th, the four-day Guangzhou International Advertising Sign and LED Exhibition ("ISLE" for short) was held grandly in Area B of the Canton Fair Complex. In this exhibition, small spacing once again played the leading role and became the focus of this exhibition. Whether judging from the number of small-pitch LED displays exhibited by exhibitors or the attention attracted by small-pitch displays, the dominant position of small-pitch LED displays cannot be shaken by any other product. It is no exaggeration to say that if this exhibition lacks small spacing, then this exhibition will probably lose half of its glory.
Judging from the small-pitch LED display products exhibited at this exhibition, we can initially draw the following conclusions:
Small-pitch is still a hot spot in the LED display industry. It is estimated that more than 20 companies will exhibit small-pitch products at this exhibition. Among them, Chengtong Optoelectronics' small-pitch P1.25 LED display and Qipuguang's Golden Leopard small-pitch P1.26 LED display have become the best among similar small-pitch products at this exhibition.
P1.2-P1.9 has become the mainstream product. Among the small-pitch LED display products on display, P1.2-P1.9 has become the mainstream product. This exhibition exhibits nearly 15 display screen companies with point spacing between P1.2-P1.9.
Small-pitch TVs have become popular. The small-pitch LED TVs exhibited at this exhibition include Leyard's P1.4 and P1.8 small-pitch TVs, Bacco's P1.9 165-inch small-pitch TVs, and Zhouming's P1.6 small-pitch TVs.
At this exhibition, in addition to indoor small spacing, we can also see that outdoor LED display products are also developing in the direction of high-density and high-definition, including Ruituo's P4 outdoor advertising machine, Qi Puguang's outdoor surface-mount P4 products, Qianli Jucai's outdoor P5 products, etc.
Currently, indoor LED small-pitch products mainly cover products with point spacings of P2.5-P1.9-P1.6. It can be said that there are already cases of P1.2 products, but due to the high price, they are not widely used. Leyard and Unilumin have the ability to mass produce ultra-fine dense small-pitch LEDs within P1.0. The outdoor market has also set off a craze for small spacing, from P20-P10 to P10-P8, to the minimum spacing P5 and even to P4, the development is equally rapid.
The problems that still need to be solved for small spacing are: 1) How to technically eliminate moiré, eliminate caterpillars, reduce the dead light rate, and achieve "low brightness, high gray and high brush"; 2) How to further reduce costs and lower product prices to achieve a wider range of applications and transition to the civilian field.
This requires the joint participation of many companies. It requires companies to be calm and continue to invest in R&D and innovation. "It is difficult to start alone, but it is easy to follow a group of people." I believe that with the joint efforts of everyone, small spacing will definitely win a brighter tomorrow.
