What two factors determine the price fluctuation of lamps?

Many consumers will find that the prices of lamps vary greatly when purchasing lamps. Not only different types of products, but also products of the same type and brand at different merchants. In order to attract consumers, merchants will launch promotions from time to time, causing the transaction prices of lamps to fluctuate greatly.

Falsely marked original prices and low discounts attract attention
It was found from many lighting stores that many lighting exhibition halls have advertising slogans such as "40% off for the entire site" and "20% off for sale starting from 20% off" to attract consumers. A salesperson in a store said: "It's not easy to do business in the lighting industry right now, and all the lamps sold are given to consumers at the lowest discount." Some consumers told reporters that although merchants have always emphasized that the price is the lowest, the final transaction price depends entirely on your bargaining ability.

The same lamp is sold in different lighting markets or multiple stores in the same lighting market. This situation makes consumers scratch their heads: they don’t know where to buy the best, the prices are different, and the quality is unclear. Many consumers said that because they did not understand the prices, even if they bargained for lamps in physical stores, they did not know what they bought in the end. Whether the light fixture is worth the money.

Price is subject to channels and costs

It is reported that most lighting manufacturers rarely set up direct stores, and the main sales channels are dealers. Although inflated prices are not beneficial to the brand, dealers have the right to set prices. Some merchants also revealed that the current strength of lighting companies is not strong enough, and dealers are relatively strong, so they are far from meeting the conditions for unified selling prices in all stores.

But not all high-priced lamps are profit-making products. Lamps themselves are personalized products, and fashion trends change quickly. After developing a product, the manufacturer is not sure whether the style will sell well, and generally does not mass-produce it. On the other hand, dealers are worried about backlogs and do not purchase goods in large quantities. In addition, lamps are produced from a variety of materials. With R&D costs, bulk ordering and production cannot be achieved, and the cost is naturally high. After-sales service for lamps also needs to be provided by dealers, and high-quality service also requires costs. If the price is too low, the service quality will not be guaranteed.
Ordinary household lighting lamps have a large volume and a wide range of products, fierce competition, and relatively transparent prices. As for products called lighting, because of their obvious demand for individualization and relatively high-end positioning, the consumers they face are not very sensitive to price. In order to protect the interests of manufacturers, dealers and consumers, standardized and transparent registered prices will become a trend.
