On April 3, a high-end OLED protective film project with a planned total investment of 2 billion yuan was officially signed and settled in Shuyang Economic Development Zone, Suqian City, Jiangsu Province.

According to reports, the high-end OLED protective film project settled this time was invested and constructed by leading companies in the domestic optical film industry. Products are widely used in high-end electronic display fields such as smartphone screens, automotive displays, OLED TVs, VR/AR equipment, etc. After it is completed and put into production, it will accurately meet the needs of domestic mainstream OLED manufacturers such as BOE, TCL CSOT, Visionox, and Truly, and fully promote the local supply of OLED protective film products.

Muyang Economic Development Zone stated that the current domestic high-end protective film market mainly relies on foreign imports, and key material fields are facing a "stuck neck" dilemma. The implementation of this project will not only effectively break the technology and product monopoly of foreign companies in the field of high-end protective films, realize the localization of key electronic materials and core devices, ensure the security of my country's display industry supply chain, solve the "stuck neck" problem in related fields, and bring very significant social benefits.

It is worth mentioning that the Ridong Materials OLED polarizer production base project, which also invested 2 billion yuan, has been put into production in Chengdu in September 2025. The project covers an area of ​​about 90 acres (including the land reserved for the second phase), with a factory construction area of ​​60,000 square meters. It mainly produces OLED polarizers and E-Mask large-size optical films.
