Xiamen: In 2030, the use of LED and other high-efficiency energy-saving lamps will account for more than 80%

Recently, the Xiamen Municipal Construction Bureau and the Xiamen Municipal Development and Reform Commission issued the "Xiamen City Carbon Peaking Implementation Plan in the Urban and Rural Construction Sector".

The "Plan" clarifies that by 2025, the proportion of green buildings in new civil buildings in Xiamen cities and towns will reach 100%, and the proportion of star-rated green buildings will reach more than 37%; before 2028, the main bodies of new residential buildings will meet 75% energy-saving requirements, and the main bodies of new public buildings will meet 78% energy-saving requirements.

Among them, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the "15th Five-Year Plan", Xiamen City implemented energy-saving renovation of public buildings with an area of no less than 2.4 million square meters, and after the renovation, the overall energy efficiency increased by more than 20%. Strengthen the operation evaluation and adjustment work of key energy-consuming equipment such as building air conditioners, lighting, elevators, etc., and by 2030, achieve a 10% improvement in the overall energy efficiency of public building electromechanical systems from the current level.

In terms of urban green lighting, strengthen the management of urban lighting planning, construction, and operation processes, strictly control the energy consumption of landscape lighting such as public facilities and large buildings, control excessive lighting and light pollution, promote energy-saving and intelligent transformation of urban road street lights, implement LED energy-saving transformation, build urban lighting management systems, and realize intelligent daily management and maintenance.

At the same time, we encourage the use of new technologies, new processes, new materials, new light sources and energy-saving and environmentally friendly products to set up urban lighting, promote urban green lighting, and improve the level of scientific and technological innovation and management of urban lighting. In terms of renewable energy, promote the application of renewable energy such as solar energy, geothermal energy, air thermal energy, and biomass energy in rural housing construction. Implement the "Fujian Province's "14th Five-Year Plan" Energy Development Special Plan" and carry out rooftop distributed photovoltaic construction in an orderly manner. Strengthen the construction of rural power grids, improve the level of rural energy electrification, and encourage the electrification of cooking, lighting, transportation, hot water and other energy uses.
