Xi'an Quality Supervision Bureau: The pass rate of self-ballasted LED lamps/fluorescent lamps is 75%

On the 19th, the Xi'an Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau reported the results of product quality supervision and spot inspections in the first quarter of this year. In the supervision and spot inspection of the quality of eight products including casual clothing, men's and women's trousers, women's leather shoes, self-ballasted LED lamps/fluorescent lamps, converters (plugboards), faucets, steel bars, and ceramic tiles, the average pass rate was 92.5%.

Among them, self-ballasted LED lamps/fluorescent lamps are favored by consumers because of their energy saving. This time, a total of 15 companies in major shopping malls, supermarkets and building materials markets in our city were monitored and inspected. A total of 20 batches were sampled, and 15 batches of qualified products were inspected, with a pass rate of 75%, making it the product with the lowest pass rate in the first quarter. Five batches of products were found to be unqualified, mainly due to unqualified logo, power and color characteristics. The municipal quality supervision department reminded that consumers should keep in mind the "three appropriates" when purchasing.

1. Choose the appropriate power. When purchasing light sources, consumers should pay attention to the logo on the product, choose products with rated power and color tone parameters that meet the usage requirements according to the specific use conditions, and choose lamps with appropriate power.

2. Choose the appropriate color temperature. The color temperatures of light source products are different, and their emitting colors are also different. The light source products sold on the market generally have the corresponding light color and color temperature marked with English letters or directly in Chinese on the lamp holder or outer packaging box. Consumers should pay attention to the difference when purchasing.

3. Choose the appropriate structural size. Pay attention to whether the connection between the lamp holder and the plastic part is firm. If it is not firm enough, there is a risk that the lamp holder will fall off during the installation of the lamp. Consumers should choose the appropriate size according to the specific lamps they use, and should not blindly pursue large-size lamps, which will cause inconvenience in loading and unloading.

In addition, two points should be paid attention to when using lamps: first, pay attention to regular replacement; second, pay attention to safety when loading and unloading, turn off the power first before operating, and never operate with power on.
