Zhaochi MLED industry territory expands again, Jingxian Nanchang base officially puts into production

Zhitong Finance APP learned that on November 7, the Nanchang base of Jiangxi Zhaochi Crystal Display Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Nanchang Crystal Display"), located in Nanchang High-tech Zone, officially cut the ribbon and went into production. Nanchang Jingxian is mainly engaged in the production and research and development of new generation Mini/Micro LED (MLED) display products. Once put into production, it will greatly increase the production capacity of Zhaochi Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Mr. Chi")'s MLED display products and consolidate Zhaochi's market leading position in the semiconductor display field.

On the same day, at the 2022 major project centralized commissioning ceremony held in Nanchang High-tech Zone, a number of projects including Zhaochi Nanchang Crystal Display, Huaqin Industrial Base, and China Micro Semiconductor Equipment R&D and Production Base were announced to be officially put into production. In recent years, Nanchang High-tech Zone has increased its efforts to attract high-quality high-tech enterprises to settle down, comprehensively benchmarking against domestic first-class high-tech zones, and creating a world-class industrial cluster base.

It is reported that Zhaochi Nanchang Crystal Display Base has put into production for the first time more than 600 high-performance lines, with a first-phase investment of more than 1.5 billion yuan, and will invest more than 1.5 billion yuan in the third quarter of next year. Sales are expected to exceed 10 billion within three years, with the goal of becoming the world's leading display industry leader and leading a new direction in the development of the display field.

Currently, global LED display technology is trending toward high density, extending from small-pitch LED displays to MLEDs. According to third-party agency forecasts, from 2022 to 2025, the global MLED market will have an average annual compound growth rate of 149.%. With breakthroughs in transfer technology, technological advancements in chip miniaturization, and further reductions in costs brought about by large-scale production, the global MLED market potential is expected to exceed one trillion levels.

Zhaochi Co., Ltd. (002429.SZ) proactively entered the MLED field in 2020.
