Zhaochi PCB production base project equipment was installed on site, and LED and optical communication business accelerated

According to reports from Nanchang High-tech Zone, the construction of Zhaochi Nanchang PCB production base project has recently ushered in new progress: after completing the power-on debugging of the entire plant's power equipment and the optimization of the workshop environment to meet standards, the core production equipment of the project has officially begun to be installed. This marks the formal transition of the project construction from "project closing" to a new stage of "equipment installation and commissioning", sprinting towards the goal of early production.

It is reported that the press equipment at the production base has taken the lead in completing preliminary installation and debugging, and core equipment such as laser machines, exposure machines, and horizontal lines are gradually coming into the site. The construction personnel are strictly following the process and carrying out equipment positioning, installation and linkage debugging in an intense and orderly manner, laying a solid foundation for subsequent stable operation.

According to reports, this production project focuses on the research and development and large-scale production of high-end PCB printed circuit boards. It is an important carrier for Zhaochi to improve the layout of the entire LED industry chain and enter the AI computing power track.

With the acceleration of the construction of AI data centers, the market attention and development speed of related technologies and products in the industry chain have increased simultaneously. Among them, PCB is the core component of AI computing equipment. Its circuit density and heat dissipation performance directly determine the computing efficiency and stability of AI servers, optical modules and other equipment.

In such a general environment, Zhaochi Nanchang PCB production base has accelerated its transition to a new stage, and is expected to be put into production ahead of schedule and take the lead in taking the initiative. After the completion of the project, Zhaochi's manufacturing capabilities and technical level in the high-end PCB field will be significantly improved, while the independent controllability of the supply chain will be enhanced, and it will help Nanchang High-tech Zone build an industry highland for AI computing hardware manufacturing.

It is worth mentioning that the second phase of the Mini COB display module production project of Zhaochi Crystal Display, which is also located in Nanchang High-tech Zone, has just started construction at the end of April. The project plans to expand the existing 3,000 RGB small-pitch LED display module (COB) packaging production lines in batches, and ultimately achieve a production capacity of 8,100 production lines.

Judging from the progress of project construction, Zhaochi Co., Ltd. is comprehensively accelerating the development of the entire LED industry chain and the two important businesses of optical communications. As the project is constructed and put into production, it is expected to better grasp the new growth opportunities in the two major tracks and gradually contribute more performance growth momentum.

In 2025, Zhaochi achieved revenue of 17.807 billion yuan; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 1.303 billion yuan; net cash flow generated from operating activities was 3.304 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 339.95%.

Among them, the LED entire industry chain business has become Zhaochi’s core profit source. This business achieved revenue of 5.725 billion yuan last year, accounting for 32.15%, a record high; it achieved a net profit of 871 million yuan, accounting for more than 60% of the profit contribution.

At the same time, the optical communication business, which is the third growth curve in the future, has also begun to get on the right track. Last year, its BOSA device products used in optical access networks received long-term orders from leading customers in the industry. In addition, 200G and below optical modules have been produced on a large scale, and 400G/800G optical modules have entered the small batch production stage. The Zhaochi high-speed optical module project has also completed the construction of a clean intelligent manufacturing base of nearly 50,000 square meters and is fully operational.

Against this background, Zhaochi achieved revenue of 4.18 billion yuan in the first quarter of this year, a year-on-year increase of 12.28%.
