Recently, a batch of work lights worth more than 50,000 US dollars exported to the United States by a Xiamen optoelectronic company were returned because the illumination did not meet the contract requirements, causing the company a loss of nearly 100,000 yuan.

Xiamen Xinglin Inspection and Quarantine Bureau conducted a return investigation on this batch of goods. After investigation, it was found that the work lamp was an LED lamp specially used for automobile 4S after-sales repair shops. There were two technical parameters agreed in the contract between the domestic exporter and the American importer, namely lumens and illumination. The lumen parameters of this batch of goods were tested when they left the factory. They met the contract requirements, but the illumination test was omitted. After the importer found that they were unqualified, they returned the goods for repair.

Further investigation found that the reason for the failure of this batch of work lights was the purchase of PCB boards with unstable performance, which caused the final illumination parameters of the LED lights to fail to meet customer requirements.
