2016 LED Outdoor Lighting Development and Application Conference will be held in Dongguan soon

On January 15, 2016, the LED Outdoor Lighting Development and Application Conference will be held in Dongguan. The conference traveled to Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Ningbo and other places, attracting much attention and setting off waves of outdoor lighting discussions in the industry. Zhou Xuejun, Asia marketing director of Lumileds, and Zhu Da, senior product manager of Philips Lighting, will discuss the difficulties and hot spots in LED outdoor lighting technology and application from the perspectives of LED chips, LED drive power supplies and lamp design, and explain how to assist downstream lighting manufacturers to better develop lighting products that meet market demand through LED technology research and development, material improvement and market driving.

Under the current new normal of the lighting industry, transformation and upgrading are urgently needed, and the integration of outdoor lighting and smart cities is getting closer and closer. In this regard, Yang Fangqin, a postdoctoral fellow in physical electronics at Fudan University, predicted that "in 2016, many products related to smart cities may be used, and products that combine outdoor lighting and smart cities will also emerge."
