Aimaipu Optoelectronics plans to expand MIP production capacity to 5000kk/month by the end of next year

On February 3, Hubei Aimaipu Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Aimaipu Optoelectronics") stated that as of October 2024, the company has achieved the research and development and mass production of Micro LED devices MiP0404, MiP0202, and Micro LED display panels MiP0.78, MiP0.9 and other products, and has MiP (Micro LED in PKG) production capacity is 2000kk/month, and it is planned to expand the production capacity to 5000kk/month by the end of 2025.

In addition, the company is developing a new product: AMIP (AM IC & Micro LED in PKG), which integrates Micro LED and Micro IC to achieve integrated lamp driver and gradually reduce costs through scale effects.

According to data, Aimaipu Optoelectronics was established in 2021 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanan Optoelectronics, with a registered capital of 50 million yuan. In 2024, Aimaipu Optoelectronics created the "Aimaipu" brand and is committed to building a high-end device brand for Micro LED new display technology.

Currently, Micro LED production capacity is continuing to expand, and MiP product yields have steadily increased. At the same time, new products of smaller sizes have been introduced into mass production, and the products have been recognized by domestic and foreign customers.
