Capital Airport completes GTC light source LED energy-saving renovation project

The scope of this renovation involves fluorescent lamps for normal lighting in the parking garage on the first and second underground floors of GTC and normal lighting lamps in public areas. The renovation project is divided into two phases. In the first phase, the fluorescent lamps in the parking area on the second underground floor were renovated. A total of 10,000 sets of lamps were transformed. The original 36-watt T8 single-tube straight tube fluorescent lamps were replaced with 19-watt T8 LED tube lamps, achieving a luminous flux of more than 2,000 lumens, a luminous efficiency of greater than 75 lumens/watt, and extending the service life from the original 10,000 hours to more than 30,000 hours. The second phase of the project is to renovate the lights in other areas of GTC. In other areas of the GTC, 8,983 sets of fluorescent lamps, 2,120 sets of downlights, and 110 sets of loop street lights were replaced.
