Chenxian Optoelectronics Micro-LED production line welcomes the second phase of CIM construction
Recently, Saimet and Chenxian Optoelectronics held the second phase CIM project kick-off meeting. Previously, the first phase has completed the deployment of MES, SPC, YMS and other systems to achieve digital management of the production process and maintain stable operation. The second phase will focus on the equipment automation of the Micro-LED production line, covering process links such as side, TS/transfer head, packaging and modules. The project has now entered the planning and implementation stage. As the second phase progresses, Chenxian Optoelectronics' Micro-LED production line will be further improved in terms of automation and data management capabilities. According to data, Saimet is an intelligent manufacturing software solution provider. Its self-developed fully automated CIM solution has been put into mass production in a number of 12-inch wafer fabs. In November this year, the company released the world's first 8K TFT-based Micro-LED display to further improve its product layout. In terms of industrialization, Chenxian Optoelectronics built and lit up the first TFT-based Micro-LED mass production line in mainland China in December 2024, realizing mass production capabilities and laying the foundation for the advancement of CIM projects. In terms of industrial cooperation, in June this year, Chenxian Optoelectronics and Qingdao Haier Multimedia signed a strategic cooperation agreement. With TFT-based Micro-LED technology as the core, the two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of LED commercial display, promote the application of high-end commercial display products and expand diversified solutions for traditional LED products. On November 5, Chenxian Optoelectronics and AOC & PHILIPS signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai. They will cooperate in technology research and development, product development and market expansion to further promote the application of Micro-LED technology in commercial, home and professional display fields.
