In February 2023, DCI released CTP1.3.3, and China Film CINITY LED CFL-16 (16-meter CINITY LED projection system) obtained the certificate of this testing and certification specification in August 2023. It is the world's first LED movie projection system to pass this high certification standard. Subsequently, China Film Technology successively obtained DCI CTP1.3.3 certification for CFL-20, CFL-14, CFL-7 and other series of LED projection systems.
In April 2024, in response to the trend of display technology innovation and upgrading of market demand, DCI released the current highest certification specification for global digital cinema projection equipment - CTP1.4.1. The certification categories include traditional projection projection technology and a new generation of direct display LED projection technology. The two technologies are further subdivided into SDR (normal dynamic range) and HDR (high dynamic range). Among them, HDR direct display LED projection technology is the highest standard category, covering brightness, low gray, color gamut, and contrast.and uniformity and other key indicators. It requires more R&D resources, technical strength and time costs to be invested in software and hardware to meet many stringent technical indicators and requirements. Meeting all requirements is daunting and difficult.

The brightness, frame rate, HDR, color gamut and other expressive capabilities of the picture have reached the peak of movie-level levels. It can accurately restore color levels, present richer light and dark details, and display more coherent and smooth fast movements. Up to now, China Film CINITY LED is the only film projection brand that can meet the CTP1.4.1 specification.
