According to reports, currently, China’s LED display application scenarios are continuing to expand. Taking XR virtual studio dedicated screens as an example, Chinese LED companies have more than ten brands involved in XR virtual production solutions, forming the world's largest XR virtual production supply camp. In terms of cinema screens and sound-transparent screens, more than 20 products in China have obtained DCI certification, and they are gradually being sold in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.City landing. In addition, China's LED all-in-one machine shipments have achieved steady growth for three consecutive years. Last year, mainland LED all-in-one machine shipments exceeded 5,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 15%; Micro-LED has also opened up market applications in wearable electronics and high-end large-size TVs.
Li Jinmin pointed out that from the perspective of policy orientation, technology and content upgrades, the LED light display industry is currently facing important industry opportunities. Driven by small spacing and Mini-LED display products, domestic and foreign LED display market demand will continue to grow. In 2023, the total LED display business revenue of the six listed companies Unilumin Technology, Leyard, Absen, Ledman Optoelectronics, Lianjian Optoelectronics, and Alto Optoelectronics reached 21.783 billion yuan, accounting for 30% of the total market; the total sales of 20 leading companies accounted for 50% of the total national market.
From products to systems to content, from hardware to software, LED display companies are upgrading from product manufacturers to system solution providers. Industry experts pointed out that the future development direction of LED display technology will focus on Mini/Micro LED technology with the characteristics of high integration, high density and micro size.
