On March 26, the 8.6th-generation AMOLED production line project of Hefei Guoxian Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hefei Guoxian") held a clean room cleaning ceremony in the main factory building, marking that the world's first high-generation AMOLED production line equipped with FMM-free technology (ViP) has successfully completed the factory construction and delivery, and has fully entered the process equipment move-in and commissioning stage, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent smooth mass production and operation of the production line.

The production line is located in Hefei Xinzhan High-tech Zone and is constructed and operated by Hefei Guoxian. The company was funded and established by Visionox and Hefei Investment Platform. In terms of technology transformation, Visionox and Hefei Guoxian will collaborate in depth. The total investment in the production line is 55 billion yuan, with a designed production capacity of 32,000 glass substrates (2290mm×2620mm) per month. Since the start of civil construction in February 2025, the project team has advanced efficiently and achieved the top-out of the main factory building in only 168 days. It only took 122 days from the start of purification project A to the cleaning ceremony.
The cleaning work of the main factory building is one of the key nodes in the construction of the AMOLED production line. Before precision equipment is moved in, thorough cleaning of the factory is a prerequisite to ensure high yields of future products. The project team adheres to high standards and strict requirements, and accurately controls every cleaning link to ensure that all indicators of the factory meet cleanliness standards.
As the world's first high-generation AMOLED production line equipped with FMM-free technology, this production line uses Visionox's independently developed ViP technology, which completely breaks away from the physical limitations of traditional fine metal masks (FMM) and has disruptive advantages such as independent pixels and high precision. ViP technology can bring about multiple improvements in display performance, and the pixel density can be increased to 1700ppi; combined with Tandem stacked device technology, it can achieve 6 times the device life or 4 times the brightness compared to traditional FMM AMOLED, which can meet the performance requirements of multi-size applications and provide better solutions.
With the completion of the cleaning work of the main factory building, the project will fully enter the equipment moving and debugging stage. Visionox will work with Hefei Guoxian to make full efforts to seize the market opportunities of accelerated penetration of OLED into full-size applications driven by AI. (Source: Visionox)
