Hongli Zhihui showed a P0.7 Mini LED display. The chip is directly packaged on the PCB board and directly displayed as a surface light source. Compared with the point light source display next to it, the effect is very obvious. According to its R&D technicians, Mini LED is mainly used in AR/VR/TV and other display applications, and samples of the product have been sent out.
Ruifeng Optoelectronics displayed a 65-inch P0.68 Mini LED display, which compared with the LCD screen, reflects the high contrast and low power consumption of the Mini LED display.
It is worth noting that Zhaochi Energy Saving has launched a new series of products, the small-pitch full-color display series, which is currently in mass production and is mainly for internal use and will be gradually introduced to the market in the future.
Nationstar Optoelectronics demonstrated its backlit TV made of Mini SMD for the first time. It is understood that Nationstar Mini backlight has two technical solutions: Mini COB and Mini SMD. Mini COB uses small-sized flip-chips, combined with PCB substrates and special packaging processes, to achieve ultra-thinness, high uniformity, and multiple partitions that can be independently controlled. P3, OD<2mm, has achieved mass production; P4 is currently in the trial production stage. Mini SMD uses miniaturized TOP backlight devices to improve the light emission angle. Through a special light source structure design, tens of thousands of LEDs can emit light evenly over a short distance while being arranged in an orderly manner at large intervals. It is ultra-thin and takes into account the reduction of LED usage, and the price is relatively "down-to-earth".
Huacan Optoelectronics demonstrated Mini LED backlight chips and Mini LED RGB chips, both of which are flip-chip solutions. The backlight chip achieves a perfect light mixing effect, and the RGB chip achieves leadless packaging, which is highly reliable and is more conducive to the application of ultra-fine pitch displays.
In addition, Jinko Electronics also displayed Mini RGB LED products for backlighting this time. According to reports, this product is being continuously upgraded, and current customer demand is mainly for backlight applications.
Everlight continues to explore business opportunities with diversified applications. In addition to continuing to develop LEDs for commercial lighting and automotive lighting, this year it also exhibited Mini LED display modules with a pitch of only 0.75mm for the first time at the Guangya Exhibition.
Everlight pointed out that this Mini LED display module uses COB packaging and flip-chip technology and is now ready for mass production. Also on display is a 160-inch P1.25 small-pitch display module, whose superior display effect makes colors come alive.
